HISTORY
The PressRoom was founded in 1989 with the mission of providing companies and organizations with high quality printing and top-notch service. The Company has grown rapidly and is now one of the leading independent print shops in South Florida . Located in Fort Lauderdale , The PressRoom has a well earned – and carefully maintained – reputation for quality, service, and price.
The PressRoom Timeline:
1989 – Joe DiGiamo opens The PressRoom. Committed to a higher level of printing, he rapidly builds a reputation for excellence.
1990 – Joe purchases a AB Dick duplicator to provide improve the speed and turnaround time of his service
1992 – The PressRoom moves into a new, expanded facility. The Company is growing rapidly.
1994 – The PressRoom further expands, extending its shop into an adjacent bay.
1996 – Joe purchases a Ryobi 3302 two color press in order to deliver higher printing. This upgrades the company's equipment from a duplicator to a true 2-color press.
1998 – The PressRoom meets the demands of its customers and expands its service offering to include graphic design and marketing support.
2000 – PressRoom moves to advanced direct-to-plate printing in order to offer faster, less expensive, high quality printing.
2002 – The PressRoom further enhances its service offering through the purchase of a digital printing machine.
2004 – Joe continues to expand the company and its printing capabilities through the purchase of a high output, full color Heidelberg press.
Since its founding, The PressRoom has been on a constant campaign to expand and improve service. These efforts have made The PressRoom one of the leading independent print shops in South Florida . With a well established, loyal customer base the Company still maintains and safeguards its reputation for excellence. The PressRoom currently employs 11 skilled team members.
MANAGEMENT
The PressRoom was founded in 1989 by Joe DiGiamo, who continues to serve as the Company's CEO. Joe is an entrepreneur and perfectionist and is the driving force between the Company's efforts to combine excellent service with affordable pricing. Joe is an avid sports fan and collector of sports memorabilia and enjoys spending weekend afternoons with his wife and two children on his boat, aptly called, The PressRoom.
The creative force behind The PressRoom is Nick McCormick. Nick is a graduate of the prestigious Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Nick enjoys allowing his creativity to run wild and gains great satisfaction from meeting the needs of The PressRoom customers. Nick plays semi-pro baseball with the Margate Centuries, is an audiophile and enjoys art.
